Jacob’s Ladder, a non-profit, SAIS-Cognia accredited Neurodevelopmental School and Therapy Center, is looking for compassionate, purposeful, and self-directed individuals with a background in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related professions to join our team of Neurodevelopmental Providers.
The Provider is dedicated to administering superior care and educational and therapeutic services to clients graded pre-K through 12th and adults with diagnoses that range in from autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sensory processing disorder, significant learning delay (LD), apraxia, pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), speech delays, genetic conditions, acquired brain injuries – traumatic and non-traumatic.
Our Providers care for Jacob's Ladder clients by carrying out specific program methodologies based on tailored assessments, ensuring they have the best opportunity to therapeutically improve. Our providers are flexible and may work with different clients each day or week in different settings but are continually focused on the individual client’s needs and development. Because Providers work with multiple clients in varying settings, they are great communicators and experts at sharing information with team members across multiple formats to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
Providers begin their career at Jacob’s Ladder by attending a highly intensive training and development program focused on Jacob’s Ladder proprietary methodology and Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care® (IWBMC™). Once trained, our Providers experience a high degree of one-to-one intervention with their clients, coupled with low ratios of clients to providers (i.e., 2:1, 3:1) and small group instruction with multiple providers placed in each group. In addition, Jacob’s Ladder offers program settings that specialize in meeting the specific needs of our clients through highly intensive, therapeutic means. Our specialized settings include the Ladder Program, Hope School, the Compass Program, and Community of Care Programs.
