PROGRAM MANAGER

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the provision of community residential support services for 16 adults who have developmental disabilities in Tucker, GA. Work some evenings, weekends & holidays as scheduled and needed.
  • Provide direct care for individuals in residential and community settings including activities of daily living assistance.
  • Oversee operation of supported living program providing individualized services for participants. Must work as a team member and supervise other employees providing services to these individuals.
  • Assure services address individual’s needs, person-centered values, choice and respect of participant rights.
  • Participate in hiring and training direct support personnel.
  • Develop Individual Service Plan for each individual. Document services for each individual.
  • Evaluate and communicate regularly on the needs, concerns, schedules and progress of each participant with his/her team.
  • Take on call responsibility for the program on rotating basis

Employment Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities preferably in residential settings. 
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Management and supervisory experience.
  • Fingerprinting/criminal background clearance from Georgia Department of Community Health and Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and availability of a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability and flexibility to work a varied schedule throughout the week varying hours.
  • Commitment to providing caring support for our participants everyday.
