We do so by providing financial assistance as well as access to our Stability Network of resources. Since inception, GK has served over 19,000 food service workers in need and has awarded over $12 million in financial assistance. Our Stability Network connects food service workers in crisis to resources that they may have not been aware of, such as mental health professionals, housing and utilities, employment and to low or no-cost health and wellness resources and much more. About the role
Job Title: Regional Impact Manager-Dallas, TX (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, OKC)
Reports To: Director, Partnerships & Outreach
FTE: Full Time
FLSA: Exempt
Salary Range: $70,000-80,000.
Position Purpose:
The Regional Impact Manager plays a key role in advancing the mission of Giving Kitchen by leading local fundraising, relationship development, and spearheading efforts to build a strong community with a network of strategic partnerships.
This position requires a dynamic self-starter with strong communication, networking, and fundraising skills, and a passion for supporting food workers in need. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, relationship-driven personality with a proven track record of establishing partnerships and building community with a diverse set of stakeholders. This role will be the organization’s expert on the best approach for fundraising and building brand awareness in specific markets. They will know the local landscape and actively provide insight on how best to execute strategies in a given community. The Regional Impact Manager will be able to successfully collaborate with colleagues to market and educate with the intended outcome of raising funds and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Donor Relations:
·Execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, as guided by HQ Development, to meet annual revenue goals through events and campaigns driven by local strategies.
·Identify prospects (individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-providing organizations) and ensure proper handoff to HQ Development for ongoing cultivation.
·Build strong, meaningful relationships with donors through personalized communications, meetings, and events.
· Acknowledge and recognize donors for their contributions in a timely and appropriate manner according to HQ guidelines and practices.
· Collaborate with HQ Donor Relations and Dir of Field Operations to report on fundraising activities, donor engagement, and community outreach efforts.
Building Community Awareness:
·Create a local network of key influencers and create and/or maintain effective community engagement councils in markets.
·Serve as a key representative of Giving Kitchen within the community by establishing and maintaining partnerships with local businesses, community groups, and other stakeholders.
·Organize and coordinate events that engage donors, potential partners, and other key constituents to build brand awareness for Giving Kitchen.
·Organize and participate in community outreach activities, such as presentations, workshops, and informational sessions.
Local Event Coordination:
·Plan, coordinate, and execute local events to engage and generate financial support for Giving Kitchen.
·Identify event objectives, themes, and target audiences in alignment with organizational goals.
·Secure event venues, event planners, vendors, necessary permits, and manage event logistics.
·Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
·Promote events through various channels to maximize attendance and community participation.
Building Strategic Partnerships:
·Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with businesses, media partners, and community leaders that raises brand awareness in given markets.
·Identify key restaurant partners in market and build connections for Giving Kitchen with particular focus on Dining with Gratitude participation and 3rd party fundraising opportunities and promotion.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
·Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, community engagement, and/or event planning.
o Experience in food service experience a plus.
o Existing pool of strong community relationships highly valued.
·Passion for hosting events and bringing people together for a common cause.
·Engaging, outgoing personality who genuinely loves interacting with new people and builds relationships easily.
·Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate the organization's message clearly and persuasively. Fearless in asking potential donors for financial support for Giving Kitchen.
·Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
·Belief in Giving Kitchen’s mission and values.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Must be able to support weekend and evening events when being held in market
· Ability to travel to and support other markets overnight as needed/scheduled
