The POC for this role will be Founder and CEO Laura Gouin (she/her). She has a visionary and collaborative leadership style. Preferring to lead by example, she holds her team to the highest standards and understands that clear expectation setting with the opportunity for questions and dialogue is the responsibility of everyone, including herself. Satiation is her guiding principle upon which every decision is made, balancing the needs of the individual with the needs of all.

Position Overview:

Satiated Artists is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive with a deep understanding of and connection with our core client base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading lead generation efforts, cultivating new client relationships, and driving growth within our current client base.

There are regular and ongoing meetings as needed with the leadership team including our Education and Development Manager, our Talent Acquisitions Coordinator, our Marketing Team, and our CEO. This assures the team is able to market, staff, and train talent to meet the customer needs as well as ensures that sales closes are values and product aligned.

It is anticipated that the selected candidate will work up to 30 hours per week in the role. The anticipated start date is April 15, 2024.

Compensation: $20/hour plus commission

Commission Details:

  • 6% of the first month’s revenue generated from new services sales.

  • 3% of the second and third month’s revenue generated from new services sales.

  • 3% quarterly commission based on existing services revenue for that quarter.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Develop and utilize various channels to identify and generate new leads within non-profit, social change, advocacy, and justice organizations.

  • Networking: Proactively engage in networking activities to expand our presence within relevant industry groups and communities.

  • Cold Calling: Reach out to potential clients via phone calls and emails to introduce SA's services and establish rapport.

  • List Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive lists of potential leads and clients, including relevant contact information and notes on interactions.

  • Develop strategies to improve lead generation, networking, cold calling targets, and list creation. Work with leadership to hone and implement those strategies.

  • Relationship Management: Nurture relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our services.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with other team members to align sales efforts with the broader organizational goals and strategies.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on cold call activity, sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management.

​​​​Must Haves:

  • Non-profit, Social Change, or Advocacy Background: A genuine passion for and understanding of non-profit and social justice initiatives. It would also be helpful to have an understanding of the creative arts and the positive impact of working with creative humans.

  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in a service-oriented environment.

  • Networking Skills: Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed via independent effort, while demonstrating effective team skills. Impeccable integrity.

  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.

  • Cultural Fit: Alignment with Satiated Artists' values and mission.

Anticipated technical tools include: Slack, GSuite, Thinkific, Calendly, and Mailchimp.

Onboarding will include digital and personalized training with the Founder as well as the Education and Development Manager as well as meetings with other key team members.

Training will cover the organization, the current team and client base, as well as growth goals and metrics. Additional training may be requested as incumbent requires.
