Job Title: Senior Associate, Partnerships

Reports to: Senior Director, Partnerships

Start Date: ASAP

Salary range: $60,000-$85,000

Location: Remote with occasional in-person time


Greenlight Action is a new organization dedicated to winning local siting and permitting fights for clean energy projects. We do this by partnering with local groups and activists to run strategic campaigns that win approval for clean energy projects in their communities. Our founding team has led some of the largest grassroots organizing networks in the country, and we are building a scalable model for engaging and mobilizing local residents in support of clean energy. 



The Senior Associate of Partnerships will be a crucial member of the partnerships team, helping create and manage internal processes to ensure Greenlight builds and maintains strong partnerships with peer non-profit organizations, donors, and the clean energy industry. We’re seeking a candidate excited to join a small and growing team and bring their creativity and initiative to projects big and small, from ensuring excellent data management and follow-up with partners to drafting donor proposals and reports. A successful candidate for this position will be excited to support clean energy projects, be detail and process-oriented, have have strong written communication skills. The position is remote and reports to the Senior Director, Partnerships.



  • Manage our CRM database, helping to streamline processes, set-up structure, and support all staff in excellent data management processes for partner, industry, and donor outreach. 
  • Research and track partner and donor leads to help prepare for strategic outreach and conversations as we build relationships across the clean energy ecosystem. 
  • Lead project management for donor processes, including donor report and proposal submissions, by tracking due dates, preparing documents, drafting content, and managing up and across the organization to ensure timely and quality submissions.
  • Take notes and summarize partner meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on next steps.
  • Support partner outreach as we scope new locations for campaigns and hit “go” on new campaigns. 



  • At least 1 year experience in a relevant field, including in relevant non-profit roles (e.g., fundraising, partnerships, administrative), campaigns, and/or clean energy industry. 
  • Superior attention to detail and project management skills 
  • Ability to work well independently 
  • Excellent written communication, with the ability to draft proposals and donor reports, as well as meeting summaries that pull out the critical takeaways and next steps



The base annual salary for this position is $60,000-$85,000. We offer an excellent benefits package which includes 100% employer paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, monthly technology stipend, and retirement contributions through 401k and Roth plans.
