POSITION: Associate Director of Supportive Housing Program--Full-Time, M-F, on-site

SALARY: $ 3,945.08 per semi-monthly pay period ($94,862 annualized) with excellent benefits including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave, and 14 holidays, with medical and dental insurance benefits and daily paid, hour, lunch break

REPORTS TO: Director of Supportive Housing and Community Services

SUBORDINATES: Program Directors I-Associate Director

ORGANIZATION AND PROGRAM: Conard House Inc. is a nonprofit organization creating communities which empower people and restore hope. The Supportive Housing Program operates 10 Single Room Occupancy buildings and 21 Cooperative Apartments in San Francisco. This position is with the Supportive Housing Program within Conard House. QUALIFICATIONS: BA or extensive equivalent experience in Supportive Housing settings required. Higher education preferred but not required. Must have at least five years of experience supervising managers and/or managing multiple programs. Experience with city contracts, grants, RFP/Qs, HUD grants and advocacy required. Demonstrate strong written, verbal, technical, interpersonal, and public communication skills to establish effective working relationships within all organizational levels and external agencies. Ability to work as a team member towards common goals and objectives. Must travel to different locations in San Francisco. Personal vehicle is not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise Program Director/Associate Director at three separate Supportive Housing Program sites.
• In coordination with Property Management, develop best practices to ensure habitability for residents.
• Oversee the development, implementation and organization of program services to formerly unhoused adults. Provide education, training, support and guidance to Program Director/Associate Director and their staff.
• Assure compliance with contract requirements and objectives. Supervise and coordinate the completion and submission of administrative paper work and reports.
• Work with Director in submitting/responding to current and new grants, RFP/Qs, grants to support/expand services.
• In collaboration with Director attend meetings and represent the agency with city leaders, contracting departments and outside providers.
• Prepare and submit contract compliance documents and oversee program audits.
• In collaboration with the Director, develop and update best practice policies and procedures to ensure high quality services.
• Participate in internal and external meetings and committees, as assigned by the Director. Attend internal and external meetings as assigned by Director or Executive Director.
