Camp Wannaklot Volunteer Position

Camp Wannaklot is a weeklong summer camp dedicated to youth who have an inherited bleeding disorder between ages 7-17. Campers have the opportunity to participate in several camp activities each day, plus attend an evening program and other special events to celebrate the 4th of July and 30 years of Camp Wannaklot. We need camp volunteers to help make the magic happen!

Counselor Job Description:

• Only the most awesome, incredible, and wonderful people are selected!
• Participate in staff orientation and training.
• Work with the Lead Counselor to guide and direct the campers in a variety of activities.
• Provide leadership and support to your cabin group.
• Follow the policies and procedures of Camp Wannaklot, Hemophilia of Georgia and Camp Twin Lakes.
• Maintain a cheerful outlook.
• Participate in activities in a way that provides for the health, safety and well‐being of campers and staff.
• Have fun!
