Purpose of Job:

The Marketing Coordinator of The dReam Center Church of Atlanta serves the church by optimizing advertising methods to keep our partners informed and engaged. This is done by the use of various social media platforms where services are streamed, campaigns are launched, and daily messages are set forth to keep our partners connected. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for goal setting, strategic planning, communication, creative leadership, and volunteer coordination. This position will work to implement ministry plans, directions and objectives as assigned.

Social Media Graphics Website App Communications

This position reports to the Creative Pastor. The Marketing Coordinator will directly supervise five key areas of Marketing: Social Media, Graphics, Website, App and Communications.

Marketing

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, or relevant certifications in business, advertising, or any other related fields.

  • Two or more years of relevant work experience

  • Advanced knowledge of using various social media platforms

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve operational efficiency

  • Good written and verbal communications skills

  • Proficiency in organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely

    manner.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation of high-quality graphic material used for but not limited to bulletins, social media, website, announcements, small groups, newsletters, sermon slides, etc.

• Develop and create material to be used to support ministry lessons and initiatives.

  • Set creative goals to be achieved each year.

  • Conduct marketing meetings.

  • Create community engagement through social media.

  • Create, schedule and monitor social media posts.

  • Design promotional material for different ministries and events.

  • Produce and maintain website with current material.

  • Manage the overall imagery presented by The dReam Center Church of Atlanta

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

• Lead and develop different “Creative teams” of volunteers that are involved in graphic design

• Assist with printing, graphics, advertising, and public relations materials and programs when needed.

• Ability to effectively use a combination of various social media platforms to keep all audience groups connected and informed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sunday and Tuesday church services: attendance on-site is expected one hour prior to the set service time on Sundays and Special Services. Tuesdays are outliers as we are onsite during office hours prior to service.

• Office hours: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00pm each Tuesday – Thursday

• Hours worked from home would be set by the individual party, but production would be the output of video items requested and performance of the team.

• Weekly meetings: Leadership Meetings, Production Team Meeting, Director Team Meeting, upon invited request

• Quarterly team fellowships

• Attend church-wide activities to create synergy amongst the team and within the church
