Job Details

Honeymoon Israel is seeking a full-time professional for the role of San Francisco Bay Area Director of Community Engagement. This individual will play a critical role for HMI as we grow our operations and impact, essential to our fast-moving, high-energy organization.

With a unique remote culture, our employees sit everywhere from Atlanta to San Francisco to Tel Aviv, and this position will be essential to our fast-moving, high energy organization . Directors of Community Engagement are locally-focused HMI staff that are based in cities where HMI operates across North America. In many cases, the Director of Community Engagement is the only HMI-employed staff member in a given community. Directors of Community Engagement are connectors, facilitators, conveners, stewards, and supporters in providing couples with a platform that helps them determine ways in which they want to incorporate Judaism into their lives. While the HMI experience for many couples begins with a group trip to Israel, the trip serves as a catalyst and much of the work to support participants in this journey happens when couples return home.

The San Francisco Bay Area Director of Community Engagement will primarily serve the communities of Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties, as well as parts of Santa Clara county. Working in partnership with the Assistant Director of Community Engagement - East Bay, this position will occasionally support East Bay communities as well.
