Job Details

Don’t just make a living – make a difference.

Planned PEThood of Georgia is an established, well-respected organization that maintains an emphasis on collaboration and customer service. While our veterinary and rescue programs target dogs and cats, our mission includes the people who love these pets. We provide several innovative programs that impact thousands of pets and pet owners each year.

Our programs include high-volume spay/neuter, wellness, rescue/adoption, TNR, and shelter medicine. Our facility is located in Gwinnett County, but we provide outreach to underserved communities through Georgia. We are experiencing phenomenal growth, and need a proven leader to help manage our progress and guide us into the future.

Our next Executive Director should be an experienced animal welfare professional. Our industry is very specialized, so a background in animal sheltering and/or veterinary medicine is essential. You will be responsible for managing a large budget and a diverse staff of 30+. Knowledge of the non-profit world, with a proven track record in Development, is important to ensure our long-term financial stability.

We offer a very competitive salary and benefits, including health/dental/disability/life insurance, PTO, and 401(k).

Planned PEThood's Mission Statement: "Helping pets and the people who care for them by offering innovative programs and affordable services that SAVE LIVES."
