Purpose of Role:
Boundless Team Members have the unique opportunity to make an impact in our community by providing exceptional event planning services to mission-driven organizations. This role requires detailed management and oversight of multiple client accounts, follows our signature planning approach, and works effectively with vendors and Client teams. This role requires exceptional project management skills, fundraising experience, attention to detail, and the confidence to speak with knowledge and expertise as a representative of the Boundless Brand. In the fast paced world of event fundraising, we thrive on helping our clients in their quest to make a difference in the world.
This is a full time position that requires the ability to work from home and travel to and from meetings and events.
Reports to: Portfolio Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Have a keen understanding of donor psychology, event fundraising, and basic knowledge of the non-profit sector
- Provide exceptional fundraising consultation and project management services by staying ahead of deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely fashion, and by demonstrating excellent communication skills that nurture client relationships.
- Bring a high level of organization, insight, and the ability to juggle multiple clients and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attend internal and external meetings with clients, vendors and the Boundless Team (both in person and virtual)
- Attend all events assigned to you and ability to work additional events outside of portfolio (unless pre-approved exceptions have been made)
- Delegate responsibilities in a clear and concise manner to clients, event planners, and event day team members; providing oversight and follow-up to ensure tasks have been completed in a timely and acceptable fashion
- Adhere strictly to the client procedures & processes, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service
- Manage onsite teams to ensure smooth communication & project management platforms are fully leverage
General Requirements:
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector, event fundraising, and/or mission-driven events
- Knowledge of live (and preferably virtual) events, processes, production & integration
- Robust understanding of key software, such as Google Workspace, including Slides, and basic or intermediate knowledge of Basecamp or other project management tools
- Strategic & analytical thinker, strong communicator, strong presentations skills, organized, flexible, and a logical “step-by-step” thinker
- Solution oriented problem solver with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Able to allocate resources and time in an efficient & effective way
