Job Details
PURPOSE & SCOPE
Duties for the Marketing Project Manager will include tracking campaign progress, developing various digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, streamlining digital marketing production and handling general digital marketing activities. Creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing our organization's image, improving digital communication with our community, and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a strategy and maintain a marketing calendar for every event and program.
- Project manage marketing timelines for Plywood Events (Plywood Presents, ATL Ideas, etc) Resources (Plywood Podcast, Trainings, and campaigns: fundraising & merchandise
- Create, manage content, and maintain daily marketing channels for Plywood People social media including Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, Tik Tok and Facebook
- Develop and source content for digital platforms
- Develop an SEO strategy and social media marketing campaigns
- Lead marketing timelines while leading outsourced designers, writers, programmers, photographers, printers and videographers to share updates and stories throughout our community of progress on problems.
- Interact with the Plywood community and offer customer service through direct messaging, email and other comment streams.
- Be a daily strategist sharing the Plywood story to the world.
- Help write, build and design marketing emails on a weekly basis.
- Post on Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tik Tok) consistently.
- Create and maintain a process to onboard new people via social media (Engage with new followers, ask them if they have questions, point them to sign up for email lists and simple texts, etc.)
- Be a role model in professional integrity and represent Plywood's core values.
- Lead live interaction at events through social media streams and onsite experiences.
- Grow all our marketing lists and engagement.
- Integrate data research into actionable marketing initiatives
- Help build the future brand, guidelines and new website to further communicate the story.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- University Degree or a minimum of 3-6 years of experience.
- Preferred English, Communications, Social Entrepreneurship, Photography or Writing Degrees
JOB KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES, & SKILLS
- Project Management and Editorial expertise.
- Photography and creative writing skills would be a high value of this position.
- Proficient Experience in technology tools like Mailchimp, Indesign, Photoshop, Hootsuite, AirTable and Later.
