BORP’s Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the organization and reports to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for BORP’s long term success, managing and overseeing the execution of day-to-day operations, and for the organization’s consistent achievement of mission and financial objectives. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of senior nonprofit experience: financial management, budgeting, staffing, planning, and controlling/reporting;
  • Genuine commitment to BORP’s mission;
  • Demonstrated fundraising experience and success and experience with capital projects is a plus;
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills with ability to articulate BORP’s mission, programs, effectiveness, and vision;
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain strong inter-agency partnerships;
  • Ability to work effectively across the organization and in the broader community;
  • Experience within the disability community and/or with adaptive sports/recreation programming is a major plus.
