Job Details
The Jonathan D Rosen Family Foundation (JDRFF) is an Atlanta-based non-profit that has been teaching its financial literacy programs to kids ages 11 to 19 since 2012. Over the years, Wealthy Habits has taught over 12,000 students and changed many lives. Now, we are looking for someone with the same passion to join us to make a difference.

Internships for 2023 will be 11 full weeks with the Fourth of July week off (5/22/2023-8/4/2023).
We currently have three positions available for the Non-Profit Business Leadership Development Internships: Finance Instructors, Organizational Development, and Communication Engagement. Please make sure to apply for the positions accordingly.
FINANCE INSTRUCTORS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate the Wealthy Habits financial literacy curriculum both virtually (Dunwoody office-based) and in-person (Atlanta-based)
- Have a passion for mentoring students so they will walk away with a greater understanding of how to better their future
- Manage the classroom environment in a proactive manner
- Work cooperatively with your co-interns
- Effectively communicate with directors on a week-to-week basis
- Complete the Intern Project
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to automate and improve the recruiting and onboarding process
- Manage office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company culture and policies
- Support board governance in developing proposals, preparing meeting presentations, and attending board meetings
- Create monthly financial reports under the supervision of the leadership team
- Provide data collection and research for grants and sponsorship opportunities
COMMUNICATION ENGAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with the Program Director in supporting and structuring programming for the organization
- Assist with recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers
- Manage scholarship applications and awards
- Create communication materials such as blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, etc
- Compile the 2022 annual report
- Identify and engage new and existing partners and research potential major donor prospects
- Assist with donor outreach and cultivation
- Plan and execute the year-end student and intern event

REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or other business-related fields or have a solid knowledge of personal finance and investing (Finance Instructors)
- Currently pursuing a degree in nonprofit management, business administration, human resources, public relations, communications, marketing, or other related fields (Organizational Development and Communication Engagement)
- Minimum GPA of 3.2
- A go-getter with the ability to deliver high-quality work product
- Organized and goal-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Motivated team player with strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
