What Does A Great Office Administrator Do?
As an Office Administrator, you will help the office run smoothly and efficiently with a variety of responsibilities. You will report to the Operations Director and assist in supporting the daily operations of the MAP office. You will work in the office, unless approved and in writing. This role offers the possibility of one work from home day per week after six months depending on performance.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will:
- Assist with gift tracking data in Salesforce.
- Support donation recognition and create handwritten notes.
- Manage and oversee MAP’s internal filing system.
- Oversee office organization and check post office box.
- Pick-up staff appreciation materials as needed.
- Research purchases within budget for various needed items.
- Order office supplies.
- Assist with interview process as necessary, including calendar management for the Executive Director and the Office Director.
- Assist with keeping the office clean including shared responsibilities of garbage removal plus occasionally vacuum / clean bathroom.
- Complete staff self-appraisals a minimum of once per calendar year.
- Attend our annual fundraiser, helping to set up, host, enjoy, and clean-up.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Complete necessary trauma training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification for Consideration:
- Two years+ working in an administrative capacity, preferred.
- Proven performance of strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in an agile organization.
