Founded in 2012, PRISM of Georgia, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based out of Roswell, GA.  We provide adults with special needs training and development in the areas of vocational, life skills and lifelong learning.  We are in our 10th year of serving the community and we are going strong!

We are looking for people who want to become part of something that is bigger than themselves. Most importantly, we need people who are energetic, patient, creative and dedicated to interacting with each and every incredible individual we serve.

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic individuals to support our daily program and work directly with our amazingly awesome participants!

What does that mean?  Well, here are the highlights of the job:

  • Hours are 9am – 3pm Monday – Friday
  • They will take direction from our Program Director and Daily Program Manager and support the daily activities
  • The daily activities include. Interact and guide our participants as they work on their skills
  • Encourage and facilitate social interaction
  • Help set up and run classes such as fitness and nutrition
  • Help set up and break down workstations Provide attention, encouragement, and conversation
  • Assist with event/ community outreach preparation
  • Assist with organization of PRISM work setting and end of day clean up
  • Take on special tasks, projects as directed by management.

Skills Required:

  • ability to mentor our participants while modeling appropriate behavior and communication
  • ability to connect, engage and relate to individuals with special needs
  • ability to encourage appropriate work habits and social skills
  • work as a team player and be willing to take direction from Team Leads
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or on track to receive one, preferred

These entry level positions are perfect for therapists, students, substitute teachers and anyone who wants to work while having fun!  PRISM operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm year round Monday – Friday.  We may be able to modify the hours worked depending on the situation.
