Chief Development Officer

Employer
Beloved Benefit
Location
Atlanta, Georgia
Closing date
Dec 9, 2022

“Our goal is to create the Beloved Community, and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.”

DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

The Beloved Benefit began in 2019 in Atlanta, GA as a catalyst to raise awareness, funds and encourage action around key issues facing our city. It is a heart-and-soul stirring annual experience that brings people together – from every neighborhood and community – to strengthen our city.

The Beloved Benefit works alongside local partners, leaders, and residents to create more equitable communities while nurturing every resident’s responsibility to love and respect one another. The evening features top-notch talent (e.g. Maroon 5, Bruno Mars), stories and speakers that leave people motivated to help bring about the Beloved Community in their own community.

In 2022, The Beloved Benefit raised more than $6.3 million for nonprofit organizations across Atlanta.

Starting in January 2023, the Beloved Benefit will transform from an event into a foundation. We will continue to host the annual Beloved Benefit as our tent pole gathering and fundraiser, but we will also add new programs, strategic partnerships, and other impact-aligned efforts.
