Company
No Longer Bound is a long-term, state licensed, residential, clinical and faith-based treatment program for men battling addiction. Located in Cumming, Georgia, we have been rescuing addicts, regenerating men and reconciling families for over 30 years.
Though we were founded in 1991 as a ministry, today the American Society of Addiction Medicine rates No Longer Bound as a “Clinically Managed, High-Intensity, Residential Program” for adult men. What makes us unique is, at our heart, we are still a Christian ministry, intersecting men in a time of brokenness to lead them into relationship with Christ. The way we do this now is with a robust, evidenced-based treatment program, led and implemented by top notch, faith-filled, clinical professionals.
Our funding model is also unique in that we we run micro-businesses to create sustainable funding. We currently have three thrift stores in the community—NLB Thrift Cumming, NLB Thrift Woodstock and NLB Thrift Dawsonville—and a Car Donation program. Our businesses generate about 50% of the revenue we need to sustain our current program, and we fundraise the rest.
Each man who comes to No Longer Bound pays $15,000 for one full year of room and board, clinical treatment, family and marriage counseling, case management and vocational training. That $15K covers his first 90 days, and it is donor support that allows us to provide each man with one full year of care.
