DESCRIPTION
Assist residents in building community and supporting their recovery. Assist program team in executing weekly schedule and ensure residents comprehensive care plans are carried out.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate with the Case Managers and Program Coordinator to effectively manage residents’ schedules, transportation, and ensure their individual needs are met
  2. Provide assistance to Program Coordinator and Case Managers when needed with individual client concerns or overall program issues
  3. Facilitate orientation of new residents, including managing the move-in process for new residents 
  4. Alongside Case Managers, conduct intake screenings for program applicants
  5. Create and execute weekend schedule for each upcoming week
  6. Manage resident phone line for resident calls while on shift
  7. Alongside Case Managers, plan and lead weekly community meetings for residents
  8. Plan and facilitate classes as part of the program schedule
  9. Manage weekly dispensing of resident’s medications and maintain appropriate documentation
  10. Manage purchasing and distribution of house and resident supplies and provide residents’ transportation to the grocery store weekly
  11. Maintain schedule and provide transportation for AA/NA meetings and track resident attendance
  12. Enforce home and resident handbook guidelines and reinforce resident conflict de-escalation guidelines
  13. Schedule and conduct house/chore, checks to ensure houses are kept safe, orderly and well maintained
  14. Manage maintenance requests to ensure repairs are conducted when needed at residential homes
  15. Manage in-kind donation inventory
  16. Purchase and organize office supply inventory
  17. Attend BeLoved staff meetings, trainings, retreats and clinical supervision
  18. Oversee scheduling and logistics of volunteer opportunities for residents volunteering in the community and track volunteer attendance
  19. Assist Case Managers with monthly volunteer trainings
  20. Participate with Case Managers and Residential Managers in the on-call rotation to support residents in the event of after-hours emergencies

PRIMARY RELATIONSHIPS

  • This position reports to the Program Coordinator
  • This position works with the Program Coordinator, Clinical Director and Program Staff to ensure each resident is receiving the highest level of care 
  • Majority of the role will be interacting with BeLoved residents

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher in a behavioral or social science field preferred
  • One year or more of related experience in residential direct care support for relevant populations preferred
  • Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around at-risk populations

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Local travel related to participant and program needs, including use of personal vehicle for transporting participants
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds 
  • Satisfactory criminal history background check
  • ​​​​Full-time - Tuesday-Saturday (12-8pm)
