Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Works in collaboration with members of the division to develop and manage student programs focused on increasing the depth and diversity of alumni relations. Provides oversight of student to young alumni transition, the Owl Mentor Network, and all Graduating Student events and programs including but not limited to Graduating Student Spirit Week and Forever Owl Fest. Responsible for recruiting and managing student volunteer leadership. Increases student and young alumni involvement and participation in the life of the University through outreach efforts, events, and volunteering opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinates development, implementation, and execution of student programs
2. Develops strategies to increase student involvement with alumni programs and events
3. Serves as staff coordinator and platform administrator for Owl Mentor Network, the virtual mentoring platform for alumni-to-alumni and alumni-to-students
4. Attends and assists with campus and alumni events
5. Manages collaborative relationships with campus departments and student organizations to identify, promote, and execute new and existing engagement programs
6. Partners with Annual Giving Office to support, identify, and cultivate senior class giving
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted Georgia driver's license
Required Experience
Two (2) years of work experience in alumni relations and/or engagement in an educational setting
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working directly with college-age students
Proposed Salary
The hiring budget for this position is $48,479 to $52,000

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, social medial platforms)
Demonstrated capacity to relate to a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, computer literacy and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
