Our House is seeking a Development & Marketing Director to strategically lead the organizations’ broad based annual fund, marketing and community engagement efforts while ensuring data driven processes and procedures.  Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, The Development & Marketing Director supervises three development professionals to meet fundraising and marketing goals.

Position Summary
Our House is seeking a Development & Marketing Director to strategically lead the organizations’ broad based annual fund, marketing and community engagement efforts while ensuring data driven processes and procedures.  Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, the Development & Marketing Director develops and increases support from foundation, faith based, civic, and government donors to meet fundraising objectives.  The Development & Marketing Director is also responsible for developing and implementing marketing efforts for the organization.  The Development & Marketing Director manages effective programs to maintain current donors, increase giving by current donors, and expand the Our House donor base.  The Development & Marketing Director will coordinate the cultivation and stewardship of donors, including developing ongoing and specialized donor communications and reports.
The Development & Marketing Director supervises three development professionals; the development coordinator, grants manager and community engagement manager, working together to meet fundraising and marketing goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1)    Manage annual giving and major giving donor programs.   
2)    Implement a systematic and meaningful donor communication and stewardship program.
3)    Spearhead marketing, communications and engagement efforts.
4)    Provide management support to development staff and oversee development team reporting.
5)    Serve as an integral member of the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

Education:       
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited college or university 

Experience:      
Minimum: 2 years’ experience in fundraising for non-profit

Preferred: 3-4 years’ experience in fundraising non-profit; 1 year management experience

Skills: 
Excellent management, organizational and planning skills; multi-tasking independently with little supervision; above average communication skills, both oral and written; highly-developed interpersonal skills, especially relating to individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences; above average computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint Publisher, and Bloomerang or Raisers Edge

Preferred:  Experience with Bloomerang, Give Smart, Canva and social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
