Position Summary  

CTE is seeking to hire a Contract Administrator responsible for the management of a variety of customer agreements, vendor agreements, and other complex contracts and agreements. The ideal candidate is someone with 3-4 years of experience working with contracts in a customer-facing environment. Experience working as a paralegal and with government contracts is highly preferred. This role will support CTE’s operations and legal teams with a focus on contract management and administration, while also assisting with special projects and process improvement. This role will also directly, and indirectly, support CTE’s Executive Director, proposals team, and project management office (PMO) to ensure our project pipeline is well organized and that project terms, conditions, and data are tracked from the beginning stages of negotiations throughout the life of a project.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall administration of agreements; manage the contract pipeline process from draft through internal and external review and redlining, proofreading, and final execution
  • Assist legal by staying up to date on existing laws and regulations to help ensure compliance and preparing documents for regulatory filings
  • Assist legal with the drafting of contracts and legal research; assist with other legal projects as needed Assist with the maintenance of contract templates and internal usage procedures
  • Provide support to PMO, and project teams, by ensuring streamlined communication across verticals is executed, resources are documented, and client expectations are clear
  • Assist project managers with the development and contract integration of project scope and budget
  • Assist with contract amendments and monitor and maintain compliance throughout the duration of projects
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual and pipeline related issues
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure contractual terms and conditions are acceptable and serve to minimize risk for internal objectives
  • Provide vital admin support for Executive Director, Proposals team, PMO, Finance team and other Leadership partners; lead/support process improvements and develop standards
  • Coordinates the renewal of annual insurance policies and arranges insurance certificates as per the requirements of each contract

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience managing contracts or working in the legal field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite CRM tools experience (preferably Salesforce)
  • Experience in non-profit, government, and/or consulting organization financial management, accounting, and contracting is a plus

Salary Range

  • $60,000 - $90,000 (based on education and experience)
