Research/Decision Support- Responsible for developing, managing, strengthening, and expanding a data-driven, decision-making culture. Independently conduct research and studies concerning a variety of health care issues or questions that arise from the membership or determined by internal research to be potentially valuable to the membership. Maintain current knowledge of revenue cycle related state and federal policies and their applicability to Association and individual member operations. Assist in review of national and state changes in landscape and assist Executive Office with injecting the research into current planning and execution. Design and conduct research projects and studies regarding the impact of current and proposed health care delivery and reimbursement policies and models. Provides interface and analytical support regarding Medicaid, state funded by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and other payor health care financing, cost, quality, access, and utilization with other health care organizations conducting analyses.
Project management/coordination- Assist Executive Office with project management of delegated committee follow up. Leads or participates as member of project teams to conduct studies of health status, outcomes, cost, quality, utilization, access to services, and overall provider performance. Assist Executive Office with financial management of Association finances. Assist with coordination of multiple conference preparation.
Communication/representation- Acts as direct point of contact for revenue cycle challenges, data projects, and business intelligence technical assistance. Creates dashboards, reporting, and analysis for all GACSB data projects. Represent the GACSB at various functions, both internally within the Association committee structure and externally at various meetings, facilitate discussion, capture follow up items, coordinate progress between meetings. Prepares/presents statutorily required and other reporting to support policy decision making.
Previous experience in health care industry with data analytics and data driven decision strategic modeling.
Knowledge of healthcare payment models to include Certified Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) and Value Based Purchasing (VBR) for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs to include but not limited Excel, Power Point, Quick Books, Word.
Proficient in virtual meeting platform to include but not limited to Microsoft TEAMS, Zoom.
Strong command of written and oral communication skills.
