OFFICE OF EDUCATION (OOE)
The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education (OOE) has an immediate need for a Math Teacher at the Cape May or Cumberland campus.
This position plans, executes, and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class or classes; performing these duties exercising independent judgment and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does related work. This position will be located at either Cape May Courthouse or Vineland, NJ.
Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Experience teaching special needs and/or at-risk youth preferred.
EDUCATION: Possession of a valid standard teacher certification or valid Certificate of Eligibility (CE) or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) as a Teacher of Mathematics, issued by the NJ Department of Education.
NOTE: Ability to physically lift, move, and position students as needed.
LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

SALARY: $56,893.23 - $92,525.88 commensurate with certificate and experience.
