Data Entry Clerk

Kids Alive International is a Christian organization serving vulnerable at-risk children in multiple countries across the globe.  

We are seeking a new Data Entry Clerk to ensure the integrity of organizational data and processes. Of great importance is the candidate’s ability to accurately input and maintain a variety of interdepartmental information with flexibility and adaptability to assist multiple departments as needs fluctuate. 

The Data Entry Clerk possesses strong communication and customer service skills to communicate with team members and Kids Alive stakeholders effectively. They handle sensitive information with a high level of integrity and confidentiality and are proficient in customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to adapt to new technology. Depending on the candidate’s proficiency, this role may shift and grow. 

As our Data Entry Clerk, you will: 

• Create, update, and maintain data, records, accounts, and coding in CRM database. 
• Collect, check, log, and file all paperwork for service/field visit programs by deadlines. 
• Develop, monitor, and update interactive travel calendar of all service/field visit programs. 
• Improve interdepartmental database management processes. 
• Assist as requested in preparing, mailing or distributing materials. 
• Proof and edit correspondence and materials. 
• Create and maintain website donation pages for missionaries, interns, and service/vision trips. 
• Assist with donation entry regularly and front desk operations, depending on need. 

A successful Data Entry Clerk will also bring: 

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred 
• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office 
• Strong communication and customer service skills for verbal and written contact with team members and stakeholders 
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines consistently 
• High interpersonal awareness and emotional intelligence 
• High degree of accuracy and organization 
• High level of personal and professional integrity, including the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information 
• Fluency in English reading, writing, speaking, and listening 
• Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technology related to role 
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training (up to 2-3 weeks each year) 
• Full vaccination against COVID-19, or a willingness to get the vaccine 
• Preferred experience: 
  • 2+ years data entry experience 
  • 2+ years customer service experience 
  • Experience in database management and SQL 
  • Experience in software administration or system management
