Job Title: Membership & Rental Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Membership & Rental Coordinator is responsible for managing the membership program and all Center rentals. The Membership & Rental Coordinator will work with the proper personnel to provide accurate answers for members and prospective members with concerns or questions. The Coordinator will manage outgoing and incoming calls to provide positive member relations and ensure satisfaction. The Membership & Rental Event Coordinator will manage 1,500 + members in the Tessitura database and reconcile with other Center databases to ensure all records are accurately reflected across the Center. He/She will also help coordinate three to four member events a year.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and drives annual membership campaigns including setting metrics for new and retained members.
- Fields all inquiries for rentals for the Center.
- Conducts tours for prospects and sells rental packages to the Center as unique location for events and meetings.
- Assists with Center event logistics.
- Generates weekly reports through Tessitura to measure results and monitor sales progress toward revenue goals
- Promotes membership through face to face interactions both on site and off site.
- Executes monthly sales plans that will engage new members and retain current members through membership renewal.
- Coordinate and execute quarterly member eNewsletter with the Marketing team.
- Enters all membership contributions into Tessitura database and acknowledge members in a timely fashion.
- Maintain security, accuracy, and integrity of Tessitura and Raiser’s Edge database
- Generates bi-weekly member report to enter/import into Raisers’ Edge database.
- Assists with fundraising events and performs other duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Passion for the arts
- Excellent customer service and phone skills. High likeability.
- Superior communication skills (including the ability to present data in an aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-understand way) and professional demeanor with members and visitors.
- Fearlessness with regard to making phone calls to members or donors
- High level of organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Positive, outgoing, friendly, team-oriented attitude with an internal drive to meet and exceed goals.
- “Go-getter” who proactively thinks of solutions to problems and thrives on anticipating and helping others with their needs
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate with work experience, Associates Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of work experience in an administrative, sales, or customer support role, with data entry and Microsoft Office experience.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge and Tessitura Available to work evening and weekend events as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds or more at times.
Salary Range:
$45,000, commensurate with experience.
