Director of Development and Communications

Project Rozana is an multi-faith organization dedicated to building bridges of understanding between Israelis and Palestinians through healthcare. We are an international not-for-profit with a central office in Australia and entities in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel and Palestine. Project Rozana USA is seeking to hire it’s first Director of Development and Communications. This person will be responsible for executing a wide range of fundraising and communications functions, working closely with the Project Rozana USA board of directors and the organization’s international executive team. This will include projects such as annual planning, major donor cultivation, foundation research, grant writing, donor relations communication, preparing newsletters, and social media posts.

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

• A minimum of 3 years experience working in or with a non-profit or business in fundraising and development.
• An understanding of and commitment to Project Rozana’s mission.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative connections with a variety of stakeholders, including colleagues, foundation professionals, board members, and others.
• Personal qualities of emotional maturity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a roll-up-my-sleeves attitude.
• Confidence utilizing online social networks and experience with CRM fundraising platforms; knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

Start date, location and compensation: 

The start date for this position is The start date for this position is immediate, subject to the candidate’s availability.. Compensation is commensurate with experience in the range of $60,000-$75,000 with up to an additional 20% in performance-based bonuses. There is a generous medical insurance plan and holiday/vacation package.  This is a remote position with a possibility of office space in NYC.
