Director of Community Engagement

Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land is seeking a Director of Community Engagement to lead the internal and external communication and engagement strategies for the organization, playing a vital role in telling the SE Trust story in a creative, thoughtful and strategic way.  
 

SE Trust, founded in 2012 and celebrating its 10th year, is in a moment of phenomenal growth and activity. The organization is building multiple parks and activating land across the region for conservation, play and community building.  We are looking for a motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, bringing attention to detail while supporting multiple initiatives.  Must be an excellent relationship builder, and have a  friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude. Comfortable working behind-the-scenes and also working on-site with volunteers, staff and other community stakeholders. Passion for the mission is a must. 

Must be a skilled communicator (oral and written) with expertise in social media, WordPress, and CRM/database management.  Should have proven experience in event planning and management and volunteer management and development. 

$65,000 salary, performance bonus potential.
Currently no benefits (monthly benefits allowance will be included.)

15 days paid time off, typical holidays 

Flexible schedule with some evenings, weekends, overnight travel

Reports to Executive Director
