Residential Service Advocate

The Residential Service Advocates assist and oversees the day-to-day operations of Solomon's Temple's transitional housing program.

• Provides direct services to shelter families and assist them with connecting to the appropriate resources and referrals.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues, partnering agencies and the community to ensure families are able to gain the information and services needed. 
• Assist with special activities/events.
• Document daily communication log, client files, and all pertinent documentation. Are available and assessible to the families while on duty.
• Responsible for providing a shelter environment that is safe, empowering, and supportive to all women and children.
• Must be able to work from a client centered approach and handle difficult situations with care.
