Job Summary:

 

The Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership within the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College is seeking a Program Manager to join their team! The Program Manager position encompasses a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, implementation of workshops through Open Enrollment (OE), management of special events, oversight of marketing and communications, supervision of a program coordinator and work-study students, instruction of basic workshops in the program manager’s area(s) of expertise, representation of EBI at nonprofit organizational meetings, facilitation of affinity groups for development and grant managers (GPAG), management of certificate programs and certificate participants, and provide management assistance for nonprofits, as requested.

 

Implement workshops through Open Enrollment

• Participate in calendar creation and development of OE workshops.

• Determine instructors for OE workshops, complete Individual Consultant Agreements (ICA), and determine logistics.

• Submit evaluations for recording and follow-up on evaluations for quality programming

• Implement impact evaluation for OE programming.

• Assist with multi-day series programs (e.g. Explore Earned Income, New Executive Director Bootcamp, etc.).

 

Supervise program coordinator and work-study students

• Verify front office and library coverage.

• Provide oversight on logistics for workshops.

• Provide upkeep of software by work-study students.

• Assign work, as needed, for work-study students.

 

• Instruction of basic workshops in the program manager’s area(s) of expertise.

• Representation of EBI at nonprofit organizational meetings - i.e. Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN), and Council of Volunteer Managers (CVM).

• Facilitation of affinity groups for Grant Professionals Managers (GPAG) and other affinity groups, including determining programs and monitoring attendance for GPAG meetings.

• Manage certificate programs

 

• Work with certificate-seekers to help them complete their chosen certificates.

• Manage the programs, certificate participation, and audits.

 

• Oversight of marketing and communications for programming

• Provide management assistance for nonprofit leaders. Meet one-on-one with nonprofit staff as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Bachelors degree.

• Minimum of five(5) years of nonprofit experience required.

• Thorough knowledge of the nonprofit sector and nonprofit organization management including fundraising, proposal writing, and management.

• Ability to lead and facilitate groups; understanding of group dynamics.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience with database management.

• Knowledge and practice of organizational, project and time management skills.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience in teaching and/or training.

• Experience in curriculum development.

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, graphic development.

• Understanding of marketing and branding principles.

 

Work Environment:

 

• Fast-pace office environment with multiple daily/weekly deadlines.

• Regular use of a computer and databases.

• Travel to outside meetings, trainings, etc. throughout the state.

• Morning and evening scheduling will be required (based on program needs).

• Overtime may be required as needed.
