Job Details
Our House is seeking qualified development professionals to join our team! We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Grants Manager.
Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Grants Manager manages the grant calendar, develops grant proposals and reports, and coordinates the grant process with internal stakeholders. The Grants Manager is responsible for prospect research, develops and executes effective marketing strategies to maintain current donors, to increase giving by current donors, to expand base of donors to support Our House. The Grants Manager will actively participate in the cultivation and stewardship of donors, including developing ongoing and specialized donor communications and reports.
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of grant writing/reporting experience with a non-profit
Preferred Experience: Prior experience writing government grant requests and reports
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Desired Skills and Characteristics: Excellent management, organizational, and planning skills; multi-tasking independently with little supervision; above average communication skills, both oral and written; highly-developed interpersonal skills, above-average computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomerang.
