About the role:

The Grants Management Specialist reviews, analyzes, and processes complex grants and contracts requiring an advanced level of technical expertise; serves as a resource regarding the status of pending grants and contracts;  advises of compliance with funding requirements of local/state/federal government, quasi-government entities and private organizations providing funding for social services programs throughout the Southern Territory; safeguards The Salvation Army's position as a religious organization as well as a nonprofit corporation; serve as technical resource person and provide advice to the Territorial Social Services Operations Director, Divisional Headquarters and the Field on matters involving government programs, funding and contracts.  Supports the Territorial Social Services Secretary and Territorial Social Services Operations Director by performing administrative duties in assigned areas.

What we are looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or technical/vocational school in Social Work, Contract Management, or a related field.   And Two years progressively responsible experience in contract management, administration, and/or service delivery preferably with Salvation Army programs, Or Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Licenses and Certifications:  Valid Georgia Driver’s License
