The Executive Development Associate is a critical member of the Development and Fundraising
Team, serving as the primary custodian of donor records and the donor acknowledgment process.
The Associate will also play a key role in the organization’s donor communications, donor
cultivation, and ongoing data gathering and analysis, to enable the organization to demonstrate
results and make data-driven decisions.


This is a part-time, hourly position.  


Responsibilities:
Assist the development team and other office staff with the following tasks:
● Enter Gifts and maintain donor and funder records both physically through filing, managing
mail, and electronically on Google Drive and Salesforce
● Engage in donor cultivation by generating donor stewardship communications, including
making phone calls, writing cards, coordinating with the Communications team on thank
you videos, and attending funder/donor-related events.
● Enter, manage, and analyze data; run reports; and create dashboards in Salesforce for both
Development and Communications.
● Work with Operations to ensure reconciliations with Salesforce and our accounting system.
● Work with the Executive Director to execute Board Meetings and Associate Board Meetings
including taking and distributing meeting minutes
● Track Board and Associate Board events including connections, RSVPS, and monies raised
including give/gets and report to the Director of Development.
● Conduct research on prospects and funding opportunities including Foundations and
Individuals collected by Development and Executive Staff
● Support Grants Writer with managing grant applications and reporting deadlines in
Salesforce and Asana when needed.
● Assist in drafting grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and supplemental materials,
as needed.
● Provide logistical and administrative support for GBH performances, and fundraising and
cultivation events—including but not limited to: the GBH Gala, Summer Soiree, Amplifier
events, and Foundation site visits.
● Amplifier and YAC Coordinator

● Organize meetings including agendas and action items
● Manage recruitment of new members and relationships with current members

● Organize and manage department email, accounts, and calendars

● Execute event protocol including tech, pre and post event communications and regularly
report rsvps to DoD and hosts
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Experience and strong interest in fundraising.
● Strong research and analytical skills.
● Computer literacy: Google Apps, Excel, and Word required. Salesforce, QuickBooks, Form
Assembly, and SurveyMonkey knowledge preferred.
● Ability to present numerical data clearly and effectively.
● Strong writing skills. Grant proposal writing experience a plus.
● Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills.
● Strong oral communication skills and ability to converse with major donors and foundation
officers in a confident and professional manner.
● Social media savvy is a plus.
● Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives working in a dynamic fast-paced
environment.
● Strong interest in local and global issues affecting girls, women, and TGNC youth, and
passionate about dismantling racism.


Compensation:$24/hour for 15-20 hours per week.
