Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for managing and directing all HR functions including employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and systems.  A thought partner, collaborator, listener, and implementer, the Director of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership in cultivating and supporting an organizational culture that values community, collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced human resource professional and collaborative, team-oriented leader who operates with a strategic perspective while executing day-to-day activities.  A minimum of five to seven years of increasingly responsible human resources experience is preferred.  Employee relations experience and a working knowledge of all human resource activities and associated state and federal regulations (e.g. COBRA, Wage and Hour laws, Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment regulations, OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, American with Disabilities Act, FMLA, CFRA, etc.) are essential and expected.  A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.  SHRM certification is preferred. The salary range is $140,000 - $160,000. Relocation assistance, if needed, is negotiable.  A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
