Bilingual Catechetical Coordinator

St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church is hiring a full-time (40 hours - Benefits included) Bilingual Catechetical Coordinator.

This position assists the Director of Faith Formation in the development and implementation of religious education and sacramental preparation of children from preschool to middle school and their families. The position would address the faith formation of both English and Spanish speaking members of the community.

Qualifications include:

• Practicing Roman Catholic
• Training and experience in pastoral ministry, education, theology, or related field
• Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in English and Spanish; knowledge of the needs, traditions and cultures of multicultural families
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with information technology including MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Commitment to the mission of the parish including recognizing and honoring diversity within the parish community
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task to plan large and small events
• Interpersonal and critical thinking skills, self-motivated 
• Able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license
