The Safe Sisters Circle is seeking a Part Time Development Associate to work closely with our Executive Director and Board of Directors to support our various fundraising efforts.

 Your main responsibilities will include:

Development Operations

•      Input and update information into the donor database(s) and gift pipeline, ensuring accuracy and completeness

•      Coordinate tasks (e.g., schedule meetings, send a donation receipt) for all open donation opportunities

•      Generate monthly and quarterly progress-to-goal reports

•      Provide support for annual budgeting process by pulling certain reports or information

•      Support gift processing as needed

•      Input information related to the donation reporting process

 

Development Strategy

•      Conduct background research or data analysis to support the creation of an annual development plan

•      Update donor and sponsor communications and materials

 

Donor and Supporter Relations

•      Implement plans for donor correspondence

•      Execute the stewardship plan

•      Track grant deadlines and writing process to help ensure timely proposal submissions

•      Assist with drafting grant applications and reports

•      Coordinate with executive director and the Board of Directors with respect to planning and execution of major events

 

Qualifications

•      Bachelor’s degree

•      1-2 years nonprofit development or related experience a plus

•      Excellent writing and communication skills

•      Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and work independently and in a team

•      Excellent personal relationship skills

•      Prior knowledge of BLOOMERANG or any CRM Database a plus
