Purpose of this Position: The Director of Strategic Partnerships will ensure that The Scholarship Academy’s partnership development, operations, marketing, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about leading the overall strategic and operational responsibility for Scholarship Academy’s expansion and execution of its mission.
Job Description
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of full-time work experience in college access programming
- Transparent and high integrity leadership
- Two or more years nonprofit management experience
- Solid, hands-on, program development and evaluation skillsets
- Significant experience with financial aid planning supports for low-income students
- Applicant should be able to demonstrate experience with strategic planning, sales/partnership development, train the trainer models, special event planning and program evaluation
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Desire to work in a growing nonprofit organization, ability to adapt, creativity, and commitment to excellence highly valued.
Specific Responsibilities
Leadership & Management - 25% of Time:
- Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals
- Manage the organization’s transition to Train the Trainer Programming; develop National Scholarship Accreditation process for College Access Professionals to support Virtual Scholarship Center implementation
- Identifying potential school/district, scholarship providers and nonprofit partners and designing tailored contract options for partnership agreements that will generate additional revenue to support Scholarship Academy programming
- Ensure the delivery of high quality services while managing for current and future growth on the national level; develop policies and procedures manual to support organizational sustainability, integrate Salesforce platform for partnership tracking
Partnership Development and Implementation - 40%
- Establish 3-year Train the Trainer Partnership Life Cycle to include:
- Coordinating Scholarship Academy courses/product implementation at each new
- partner site,
b) Designing Training Curriculum and Partnership Toolkits,
c) Designing Partnership Scorecards to measure Program Efficiency
d) Collecting data and report outcomes to share with partner organizations and key stakeholders- Supporting strategic plan implementation and scaling efforts in targeted Georgia counties to ensure successful onboarding of new partnerships, corporate volunteers and on-site staff members
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and strengthen internal communications with staff throughout the organization; create and promote a positive work environment that supports consistency throughout the organization's strategy, operational methods, and data collection needs
- Support the execution of comprehensive marketing, branding and development strategies in partnership with the Executive Director that will ensure consistency throughout the organization and enhance revenue from major donors, foundations, government agencies, and corporations
