This position requires a person who is friendly, detail-oriented, and possesses people and communication skills to assist in the growth of our Belong Communities. This person will help to coordinate all of the logistics and large scale projects for Young Adult Ministry and Spiritual Formation.

 

Primary Job Functions:

Responsibilities:

Young Adult Ministry

  • Room booking, scheduling, and catering for all on-site events
  • Booking and coordinating details for all off-site events
  • Updating website information
  • Scheduling meetings with the Young Adult Leadership Team
  • Communicating with both visitors as well as larger Young Adult community
  • Creating quarterly calendars for large events, service projects, and learn time
  • Working with other departments within the church to help ministry run effectively

Spiritual Formation

  • Room booking, scheduling, and catering for all Sunday morning and midweek Belong communities
  • Communicating issues and problems between communities and our Hospitality/Maintenance/Technology Department
  • Partner with the Pastor for Spiritual Formation to develop training for our community leaders and maintain up-to-date training manuals
  • Scheduling training sessions and tracking registration for all Belong events
  • Communicating directly with Belong community leadership to disperse all important information from the church
  • In partnership with the Pastor for Spiritual Formation, maintain data of all applicants and registrants for Peachtree’s Spiritual Formation Cohorts and communicate regularly as directed
  • Coordinating schedule for the Pastor of Spiritual Formation
  • Assisting the Pastor of Spiritual Formation with email follow up, credit card reports, and other administrative tasks
  • Edit and Upload digital content to Right Now Media.

Requirements:

  • Deep personal commitment to knowing, following and growing in Jesus Christ
  • Strengths in event planning, hospitality, organizational skills and volunteer recruitment
  • Ability to self-direct with high degree of time management, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with high degree of administrative responsibility and working with large quantities of data
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), PowerPoint, Outlook and Data Entry
  • Proficiency in Mailchimp (or similar email system)
  • Proficient in English (oral and written) and editing for clear communications
  • Dependable with punctuality and own transportation mandatory
  • Professional attitude and appearance
