Our House is seeking qualified Early Childhood Education professionals to join our team! We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced ECE Site Director. 

ECE Site Director is responsible for managing day-to-day running of the childcare center as a part of our services offered toward our mission of ending homelessness. The Site Director reports to the Chief Impact Officer

The ECE Site Director will work as a part of service team to ensure that the level of care and education is appropriately individualized for each child and that all classrooms are providing an educational experience of exceptional quality. This position is charged with managing day-to-day running of the ECE site, modeling appropriate classroom management and positive behavior guidance techniques, as well as ensuring that classrooms are following the designated curriculum and the accompanying, appropriate lesson plans. The Site Director ensures program activities and documentation comply with Bright From the Start, NAEYC, Head Start, GA Pre-K, and Quality Rated standards. Other duties include; Parent engagement, Partnership and data management and staff supervision.

Required Experience: 3 years teaching experience in a NAEYC Accredited Early Learning Center or Quality Rated program.

Preferred Experience: : 4+ years teaching experience and 1 year experience leading and directing the work of early childhood teachers and experience implementing CACFP, Head Start and GA Prek

Education: Bachelors of Arts/Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Care and Education or related field with a minimum of 36 college credits (semester hours) in early childhood education, child development, or early childhood special education.

Proven leadership skills in a fast paced early learning environment

Above average Communication Skills--Oral and Written

Ability to organize and multi-task

Excellent Interpersonal Skills and ability to relate well to children, families and other staff
