We are over 100 years old, but our ongoing relocation to north Metro Atlanta has created an environment like an entrepreneurial startup: fresh, fast paced, and innovative. So we’re adding new staff who pride themselves on emotional maturity, flexibility, self-motivation, curiosity, and accountability.

We’re looking for two administrative support professionals to assist our Accounting and Child Sponsorship teams. They will work with several systems to make sure donations, correspondence, and information flow to the right places and stay accurate. They will respond to donors’ requests and collaborate with teammates across the organization.

The successful candidate will keep our shared core values, beliefs, and commitments at the center of their work. In this role, you will:

  • Process, document, and code correspondence or donations from many physical and digital sources.
  • Respond to donor calls and emails, and proactively reach out to them to answer questions and requests, and solve difficulties as they arise
  • Monitor sponsorships or donations and donor information to ensure it syncs correctly, and keep it up to date in our website, donor database, and other systems
  • Maintain and safeguard the physical and digital filing system for your team
  • Implement print and mail projects and maintain your team’s supplies and materials
  • Assist your team and the organization with information sharing and other projects as requested
  • Take initiative to notice and propose ways to improve your systems and processes

We believe the successful candidates will also have the following qualifications:

  • An associate degree or extensive administrative experience
  • A positive, team-first attitude and a commitment to working together to discover, analyze, and solve problems
  • Strong skills in sensitive customer service and clear communication for frequent phone and written contact with donors
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and significant attention to detail resulting in a high degree of accuracy with numbers and data entry
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially: Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn our custom donor database programs (Prior experience with either DonorDirect or Blackbaud is a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally travel for training
  • Spanish and/or French language proficiency is a bonus

Systems Programs: ...working with governments and like minded organizations to create more just and responsive systems for children, and to reduce violence and exploitation in communities
