Position Description:
This professional is responsible for developing and/or assisting in developing resources for PADV (volunteers, financial, and in-kind) and assisting the Vice President of Operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, orientation, supervision and day to day management of volunteers for all programs.
- Maintains daily volunteer schedule and arranges for placement of volunteers throughout the agency.
- Communicates volunteer schedules in a timely manner to all needed staff.
- Creates and updates volunteer training manual and other volunteer materials.
- Works with Administrative Assistant to maintain volunteer database in Raiser’s Edge.
- Maintains and creates monthly statistical reports covering volunteer hours and volunteer tasks.
- Utilizing funding partner guidelines, implemenst dynamic, engaging volunteer trainings.
- Using funding partner guidelines develops and executes on-boarding process which includes: training follow-up, background check completion, and certification process.
- Implements annual volunteer recognition event and ongoing retention programs.
- Organizes large group and corporate volunteer projects and communicates those projects to the VP of Operations.
- Manages
- Responds and provides needed volunteer support for agency fund development and special events.
- Oversees and manages agency in-kind giving program.
- Available evenings and weekends as needed for volunteer training and oversight of volunteer groups and volunteer support of agency events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Experience in teaching and/or training groups.
- Ability to work independently and with little direct supervision.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Experience in volunteer placement.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Able to recognize an individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
