This role requires skills and experience in project management — and the ability to analyze and synthesize data across a range of sources.

Your Superpowers & Experience

  • You have at least three to five years of experience doing project management.
  • You have prior experience working in or around strategic communications, research, user experience, or human-centered design.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented. In fact, you think you have a thing or two to teach Marie Kondo. You also love helping others to be organized.
  • You are able to break larger projects into smaller tasks and proactively communicate with other team members to ensure work is moving forward.
  • You are flexible and love working with teams; you also have the confidence and discipline to be self-directed, to take initiative, and to meet deadlines while working remotely.
  • You can examine qualitative data, make sense of it, and create high-level summaries that communicate the most important ideas and learnings.
  • You have experience working on multi-racial teams and have a strong commitment to racial justice, equity and inclusion.

Your Responsibilities
Project Management (80%)

  • Supporting team project management and tracking workstreams (e.g., work planning, meeting logistics, scheduling)
  • Capturing notes and synthesizing highlights from client and internal meetings
  • Preparing status updates, reviews of materials and meeting agendas in advance of internal meetings
  • Event coordination and logistics planning, including webinar planning
  • Oversee website development of an interactive online toolkit and manage relationships with vendors (e.g., web developer, graphic designers, etc.)

Strategic Analysis (10%)

  • Synthesizing data and analyzing insights from various sources (e.g., messaging recommendations and media audits)

Client Relations (10%)

  • Preparing status updates, reviews of materials and meeting agendas in advance of client meetings

Compensation
