POSITION TITLE: Email Marketing Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: The Email Marketing Coordinator will work with a passionate team of Federation marketing professionals and be directly responsible for the day-to-day programming and execution of Federation’s email marketing efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Email Marketing

  • Oversee day-to-day management of email marketing calendar and production of email campaigns from start to finish including design, implementation, deployment, and optimization.
  • Optimize new and existing email marketing efforts through ongoing tests of customer segmentation, subject lines, time of send, content, landing pages, etc.
  • Collaborate with Content Creator and other members of the Marketing team in development of engaging and customized email content.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of email communications to ensure content and design accuracy.
  • Manage the email creative development process, including gathering all inputs, partnering with creative and content on process, providing feedback, and proofing.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to identify opportunities to implement email automations and drip campaigns.
  • Leverage email best practices and testing results to improve the impact of email campaigns.
  • Monitor, track, and provide analysis and reporting on email campaigns and email list management.

Additional Digital Marketing

  • Assist Marketing Manager with form building.
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with website content updates.  
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Coordinator with social media execution.

Other

  • Build and maintain internal client relationships with every department within the organization.
  • Promote the mission of Federation at all times through superior customer service to all and through the efficient use and care of resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ years’ experience in digital marketing and/or email marketing.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong customer service while maintaining the ability to drive outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Superior project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms like Salesforce/Pardot (preferred), MailChimp, Constant Contact, or Emma a plus.
  • Design skills in Canva and/or InDesign a plus but not required.
  • Driven, self-starter, resourceful and able to work with minimal direction.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Intermittent standing and walking with prolonged periods of sitting at desk or in meetings.
