POSITION TITLE: Digital Marketing Manager

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

OVERVIEW: Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (“Federation”) is continuing to build a diverse team of highly motivated and qualified individuals with a variety of skill sets to create a new model of 21st century community engagement and philanthropy. PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: In this newly created position, the Digital Marketing Manager will work with a passionate team of Federation marketing professionals to lead integrated digital marketing strategies for the organization that speak to our audiences where they are – with special emphasis on website management, social media, search, and SEO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                            

Social Media

  • Oversee social content strategy development and execution for main Federation and Atlanta Jewish Foundation social media pages to elevate organizational awareness
  • Develop content and execute paid social campaigns including A/B testing
  • Monitor/optimize campaigns and provide monthly reports and recommendations for organic and paid social campaigns that meet or exceed departmental KPIs
  • Along with Digital Marketing Coordinator, provide education and training for program managers throughout the organization who engage in social media activities

Search

  • Support creation of paid search and Google Ad Grant campaigns and identify opportunities to implement new paid search initiatives

SEO

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase web traffic and conversions
  • Work with Content Creator and other members of the Marketing team in the creation of SEO-friendly web content

Website Management

  • Oversee website management and updates for the organization’s three websites
  • Leverage Google Analytics to monitor and improve website user experience and conversion rates, track effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, and monitor progress against digital marketing KPIs      

Management

  • Supervise Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Oversee relationships with digital marketing/website agencies and vendors

Other

  • Work with fundraising, donor services and engagement teams to evaluate various digital tools and how they can increase our overall effectiveness
  • Assist Marketing Manager with email marketing initiatives and reporting
  • Assist Director of Marketing with day-to-day management of the department, including project management as needed.
  • Build and maintain internal client relationships with every department within the organization
  • Promote the mission of Federation at all times through superior customer service to all and through the efficient use and care of resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ working experience in digital marketing
  • Experience contributing to web, social, search, and email marketing strategy and understanding of digital marketing best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience in Google Analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Facebook ad campaigns, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads
  • Familiarity with pixel and conversion tracking methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Proficiency working with various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn); Microsoft Office Suite; Wordpress; and Salesforce. Working knowledge of Pardot as well as HTML/CSS a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Intermittent standing and walking with prolonged periods of sitting at desk or in meetings.
