SUMMARY

The CLS Coordinator is responsible for providing staff management and coordinating care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordination of staff training and development opportunities
  2. Provide home visits and monitoring
  3. Assist in the recruitment of direct care providers
  4. Assist in the preparation of programmatic reports
  5. Provides technical assistance to staff
  6. Education and empowerment of families regarding service options available
  7. Operate within a team approach
  8. Adhere to GCSS policies concerning the confidentiality of consumer information.
  9. Adhere to GCSS documentation standards for participant and provider records.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 23 years of age or older, possess a valid drivers license, valid insurance and specific plan for transportation, if required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree and 2-3 years of experience

One year of coordination experience in the area of developmental disabilities, preferably with a focus being in community-based programs.

  3. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation
  4. Creative and flexible cognitive abilities.
