Security and Facilities Manager

Position Type: Full-Time; Salaried Exempt

Department: Receiving Hope Center

Reports to: Program Coordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week; typical schedule Monday-Friday 12:00-8:00 p.m.; hours will vary as needed to include other times of day/night and weekends; on-call rotating schedule

Location: Receiving Hope Center

 

Position Summary: The Security and Facilities Manager is responsible for on-site security and facilities operations at the Receiving Hope Center (RHC), with oversight by the Program Coordinator. This position serves as a key liaison for all security and facility’s needs, including supervision of the Program Support Assistant team.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):                                                                                                                  

 

Security Services

 

  • Plan and organize security-related monitoring, governance, and compliance for the program
  • Manage the security elements of the RHC, including equipment, systems, processes, and personnel
  • Manage scheduling, attendance, and job performance of all Program Support Assistants
  • Manage all participant transport to and from the RHC. Create an on-call schedule and coordinate transport team members
  • Assist staff with participants as needed to maintain safety for all on-site individuals
  • Maintain and monitor security cameras
  • Train other staff members on Mindset safety management training and security related best practices
  • Develop a professional resource network for safety and security
  • Participate in on-call rotation with key lead staff

       Facilities Services

  • Serve as point of contact for facilities management with service providers
  • Submit and oversee work request orders
  • Supervise the completion of maintenance work orders
  • Operate and maintain basic office equipment and audio visual equipment, assisting with basic technology support as needed
  • Complete all required safety accreditations
  • Complete all RBWO required facility safety drills and maintain records
  • Coordinate all vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Consult with Program Coordinator to suggest ways to improve facilities management
  • Manage keys and key cards, including distribution system
  • Support development goals by identifying fundraising and partnership opportunities related to facilities and security

Professional Qualifications:       

 

  • Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a security and or public safety related capacity
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a public safety, law enforcement or related criminal justice field

 

 

Position Requirements:                   

 

  • Moderate travel as needed, mostly in the metro Atlanta area
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and have the ability to work for long periods at a computer
  • Satisfactory criminal history background check
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
