The Partnerships and Development Director will ensure that The Scholarship Academy’s operations, fundraising, marketing, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.  This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about leading the overall strategic and operational responsibility for Scholarship Academy programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of full-time work experience in scholarship provider/ program managment
  • Transparent and high integrity leadership
  • Solid, hands-on, program development. fundraising and evaluation skillsets
  • Experience with utilizing CRM databases and project planning/evaluation software
  • Applicant should be able to demonstrate experience with partnership development, corporate sponsorships, train the trainer models, special event planning
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Experience in technology/app development a plus.
  • Desire to work in a growing nonprofit organization, ability to adapt, creativity, and commitment to excellence highly valued.

Specific Responsibilities

Leadership & Management - 25% of Time:

  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and strengthen internal communications with staff throughout the organization; create and promote a positive work environment that supports consistency throughout the organization's strategy, operational methods, and data collection needs

Partnership Development and Implementation - 40%:

  • Identifying potential school/district, scholarship providers and nonprofit partners and designing tailored contract options for partnership agreements that will generate additional revenue to support Scholarship Academy programming
  • Supporting strategic plan implementation and scaling efforts in targeted Georgia counties to ensure successful onboarding of new partnerships, corporate volunteers and on-site staff members
  • Support the execution of comprehensive marketing, branding and development strategies in partnership with the Executive Director that will ensure consistency throughout the organization and enhance revenue from major donors, foundations, government agencies, and corporations
  • Manage key fundraising plan implementation strategies and support ongoing organizational sustainability efforts

Program Design And Evaluation – 35%

  • Oversee The Virtual Scholarship Center platform implementation and support marketing plans for expansion, additional modules to include a unique Scholarship Providers Network
  • Develop effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents
