equitably, and fostering creativity in a collaborative environment that delivers ongoing
transformation. The Director will lead, train, and develop a team ensuring that Head Start
Performance Standards as well as best practices in early education are well-known and

with leaders and stakeholders to deliver the message of the lifelong impact and social
significance of early childhood education on health, economics, and behavior.

Specifically, the Head Start Director will have three areas of focus:

  1. Leadership, Management & Communication – Demonstrate leadership in an early education nonprofit including building strong management teams and systems as well as a building clear and transparent communication across the Head Start program and agency.
