Digital Marketing Intern

The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is the largest and longest running gorilla conservation organization.  We work to protect wild mountain gorillas in Rwanda and Grauer’s gorillas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo through four key pillars of work: direct protection, scientific research, training future conservationists, and helping the people who live near the gorillas’ forest home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time Digital Marketing Intern. This position will work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and will be based in our Atlanta office. In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will be afforded the opportunity to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on awareness, education, and fundraising campaigns with our digital marketing team. Our ideal candidate has a degree in marketing or related experience, graphic design skills to produce high-quality, trendy content for social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, and a passion for animals and conservation. Digital Marketing Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Support our digital marketing team
• Assist with social media campaigns
• Assist with email campaigns
• Produce website and social media content
• Plan and execute a digital awareness program
• Complete other administrative tasks as needed

Digital Marketing Intern Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree will be considered
• Prior internship experience a plus
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other content creation tools
• Graphic design skills
• Computer skills
• Experience working in or with a not for profit (conservation organization a plus)
• 1 year (Minimum) commitment required
