The Poulsbo Fire Department is seeking a new member to join their team, responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the front office and administrative support functions; handle confidential matters in partnership with Department leadership; and support the Board and Chief Officers in implementing established vision and policy.  A key partner, this position will build trust and foster excellent working relationships with firefighters, union representatives, administrative staff, leadership and board representatives.  The ideal candidate will be skilled in staff oversight, knowledge of labor negotiations, understanding of practices within an office environment, exercise adaptability and flexibility, and have sound decision-making abilities in using tact, discretion and judgement.
